Turning to God in Times of Calamity
In times of calamity who do you turn to? I turn to God. He is our safety and he will hide us under his wings. Everyone is looking for safety and a place they can turn to in these times. I have news for you, you can’t run or hide from life. I have learned this the hard way. I have tried to get away from dealing with life by coming home and putting the covers over my head. Nope that didn’t work. The only alternative for me is Jesus Christ. I need thee oh I need thee. Every hour I need thee.
God said he would never leave us nor forsake us. He will be with us until the end of time. Rest assured knowing that in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy paths. Lean not unto your own understanding but trust in God. I am not saying that life is easy and that we will figure everything out all at once. I am saying that the pieces do come together in time.
Don’t be weary in doing good, for in due Season you will reap if you faint not. In hard times we turn to all types of addictions like drugs, sex, alcohol just to name a few. We want to try and escape life’s problems, but there is no way out. We must look up. God is coming soon for His people. He is looking for the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Are you ready for that exit? Are you ready for eternity?
I urge you to accept Jesus Christ into Your heart and soul. Don’t delay a chance at getting to know Him. The reason why you’re running we are running is because we are in search. Look no further, you’ve run into Him. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords Jesus Christ is here for You. Accept Him and your life will never be the same.
If you already have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, continue the race. Be of good cheer because God Himself is rooting you on. He wants to see you succeed and become great. He has plans for you, not to harm you but for your good, to give you a hope and a future. I have come to understand that I must face my challenges. Sometimes sleep is necessary to recharge us and rejuvenate us. We all get tired and can be worn out from Life. Self care is important.
I don’t have all the answers on this blog, but God does. He will reveal all things to us at the appointed time. I hope this blog inspired you and gave you a burst of energy. My hopes are to promote purpose and peace into you. Yah Bless.😊❤️🙏
Have a glorious day:)
Stay Warm,
Ms. Shalea Berryhill
