Put On The Whole Armor Of God

Today I am going to discuss putting on the Full Armor Of God. Some of you are familiar with what that means. Many people may not understand. Here is a scripture from The Holy Bible that will break down the Full Armor Of God and what it means:

Ephesians 6:10-18

King James Version: 

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

This passage helps us to see that our weapons are not carnal, or of this world, they are spiritual. We are not fighting each other, our fight is against the evil spirits of this world. We must be strong in the power of God, otherwise we will not live the life God has for us. In order to receive the promises of God, we have to be able to stand. The Whole Armor Of God helps us to do this. I will not paraphrase the scripture, but I will say that from head to toe, we need God. We are covered by the Blood of Jesus and the Holy Spirit is our guide. The Whole Armor is our protection in this day of evil. There are so many tactics that are setup to destroy us and God’s will for our lives. So much hate and jealousy in this world. All items of the Whole Armor are needed equally, they help to keep our minds stayed on God, and at peace in knowing that we are equipped for war.
